There is an unwritten rule in redevelopment - there can be one less room in an apartment than the number of windows (one window is needed for the kitchen). If you need to add a room, but there is not enough natural light, then the kitchen and the common room most often suffer, turning into a studio kitchen with one window. 

In this apartment, they decided to apply another solution - to leave the master bedroom without a window. As compensation, the entrance to it was made of a frosted sliding partition, which allows natural light into the bedroom, but at the same time hides its contents from the eyes of people in the common room.
